kindness – Words' End

kindness

When you are being kind to yourself, how does that kindness manifest?

  1. For about as long as I can remember, it’s the simple gift of -time- that I crave. Time to do whatever I like without distraction. There was a time when it was -place-, the gift of travel & adventure (which of course included Time).

  2. I don’t know. I’m still trapped in either I’m indulging myself or I’m punishing or restricting myself, so I’m trying to figure out what being kind to myself feels like.

I’m sure I’ve been thusly before, I just can’t remember it.

  3. Seconding the response of “time”; for me it’s a part of self-indulgence, but that indulgence tends to manifest as letting myself sleep a bit more, letting myself read randomly, etc. All of those things require that I snip time away from whatever else I should be doing.

Nice site design, btw. I hadn’t seen it before today.
