Victoria is beautiful; I’m quite disappointed that I won’t be at ACH/ALLC this year, since I like Vic so much, but I’ll be just across the way (those same dates) at the Digital Games Research Assocation conference in Vancouver … seems like western Canada is getting *everyone’s* business these days.

And I think I’m going exactly what you are doing – flying to Seattle and taking the train up. Why is flying to Canada *that* much more expensive. Sheesh.

You’ll like the Clipper though. Loads of fun…

I can’t help with the Seattle thing, but I can highly recommend Victoria. Ever been before? If not, I recommend that a long walk through Beacon Hill Park be added to the list. And tea at Murchie’s.

Oh, I responded to the lj feed *smacks forehead* I always forget that… Anyway. If you have other options they’d probably be more comfortable than our house certainly.
